Here in LYNXE BLANCO we’re looking to promote and discover unknown voices from Latinamerican authors that write fantasy, science fiction and horror. Our English submissions are open internationally.
Currently, we’re looking for stories in Spanish and English that can enrapture readers with the scary, the unknown, the impossible and fantastical aspects of their worlds.
Submission Guideline:
- 500 – 800 words max.
- Must be written in Spanish or English completely.
- “Spanglish” is only accepted in character dialogue.
- Document must be sent in the following format:
- Format: .doc or .docx (PDFs won’t be considered)
- Font: Times New Roman
- Size: 12pt
- Line spacing: 1.5
- Submission email title must be: Story Title – Author Name (Nationality) – Genre
- Please include a small biography with one or two fun facts about you in the body of the submission/email.
- We accept a maximum of 2 stories per author.
- Must be an unedited and original text.
- No reprints, please.
- We are currently NOT paying for stories, only accepting donations.
After submitting your story:
- Your story will be read and evaluated by the editorial board.
- You’ll be able to get an answer between 14-21 days.
- If your story gets accepted, you will go through an editing process before being published (if needed).
- Once your story is published, it’ll be promoted through our web and social medias.
Author Rights:
- The author won’t lose the rights to their story after submitting it.
- We ask for exclusive electronic rights to your story for as long as ninety (90) days.
- We ask for indefinite non-exclusive rights to your story so we’re able to keep an archive.
- As of right now, we don’t have a translator therefore:
- Stories sent in Spanish will be published in Spanish.
- Stories sent in English will be published in English.
